Flood Relief In Kota Marudu, January 2007

More than 100 families in Kota Marudu received food in the wake of severe flooding from The Food For the Hungry International, Sabah, Malaysia. The flood relief efforts aimed to help entire families live through the difficult initial days after the floods.

About 10 houses were washed down at the height of the flood in the district which affected about 50 families.

FHIM executive director led a team to make  the donation  to the district officer Puan Luvita Koisun.The team also visited the affected  site  to distribute food supplies  and clothings to families who lost their homes at Kg.Samparita.
