BACKGROUND

The Mental Health Association of Sabah, or JIWA for short, is a registered voluntary organisation operating in Sabah, Malaysia. It was initiated by the Rotary Club of Kota KInabalu, Sabah and registered in April 1975.
It exist to promote better mental health and opportunities for personal development, and develop concerns and common interest of patients, families, those who provide services and the public. As a membership organisations and other groups, who support its basic aims.
