KINABALU: The status of the proposed Malaysia-China pulp and paper
mill and the completion and operational date of the naval base in
Sepanggar are among the questions submitted by Gaya MP Datuk Yong
Teck Lee for the coming parliamentary sitting.
Yong has also submitted a question
whether the objectives of the Ops Nyah II have been achieved along
with the number of illegal immigrants deported.
In view of the increasing trade,
investment and travel and educational exchanges between China and
Malaysia including in Sabah, Yong also sought an answer whether the
Foreign Ministry will ask China to set up a consulate in Kota
Kinabalu like in Kuching.
Others questions are the steps
taken to set up unity clubs which are multiracial in composition in
universities in order to foster national unity among students.
He also sought an answer from the
Education Ministry on the progress of improving the English language
in schools at all levels. |
