The Sabah Society for the Blind (SSB) established to help those with little or no sight to optimize their opportunities by providing specialist staff, information and technology resources to meet individual needs.

This site is dedicated to increasing people's awareness of the SSB, what we offer and the services and products available to blind and vision impaired people. This web site has been created to allow those with limited sight to read the pages with the assistance of adaptive technology.
While the majority of information contained in this site is general, the News and Activities sections will be constantly updated to keep you informed with the latest and up-to-date developments.

Our Mission & Objective

1. To promote the education, employment and general welfare of blind persons.
2. To provide services / facilities for housing, training and taking care of blind persons.
3. To assist persons of defective vision by providing aids, facilities, medical and surgical treatment in needy and deserving cases.
